A double whammy kind of day.

A catch-up with friends is something l enjoy and with these two beauties, Sharon, and Gabby, it is always guaranteed to be a great day out.

Meeting at ‘The Journal Café’ in the heart of Melbourne with a couple of original ‘Indola Legends’ was no doubt going to be a treat.

We kickstarted our day with a bubbly Prosecco in hand, standard protocol, and as usual we spent our time, laughing, debriefing, and taking a trip down memory lane. I just love that our professional pathway gathered momentum year after year and to this day an ‘Indola Legends’ gathering with friends is something we make time for.

As we sat by the window chatting about the good old days and coming up to speed with where we are at now, our experience was made even more enjoyable by the friendly staff who looked after us. The ambience of 'The Journal' was cosy, and the vibe was totally chilled.

On a personal note, my Melbourne City outing was extra special when l was notified that the ‘City Library’ was making my book ‘Unbosoming’ inclusive in their catalogue collection.

This year ‘Unbosoming’ found a home in places l never thought possible and as we get to the tail end of 2022, l would like to acknowledge how grateful l am for the opportunities that have been presented to me.

Available now, you can borrow ‘Unbosoming’ from any of the City Libraries including, Carlton, Southbank, or Docklands.

Reflection-one of my favourite things to do is make time for a train trip into the City of Melbourne where l will be sure to find a little something special that perhaps l hadn’t noticed before!
