l became an Australian published author in March 2022 and everything that has progressively unfolded, organically flowed without any expectation.
It is now October 2022, and l am excited to let you know that my book ‘Unbosoming’ has been made inclusive in the collection at the State Library, Victoria.
l have heard so many wonderful things about the library so this week my sister-in-law Daniela and l went on a tram ride into the city as l wanted to explore what all the hype was about.
When l entered the building l immediately felt a rush of adrenalin run through my body.
Daniela and l were welcomed by the friendly staff who were curious about me, and my book, and after our little chat l was congratulated and guided in the right direction to where l could find ‘Unbosoming’.
Feelings of joy and happiness come over me and l could not take the smile off my face.
As l made my way around the library l was mesmerised by the architecture and ambience of the spaces around me. The natural lighting was beautiful and there are so many rooms to choose from that cater for people of all ages. Whether you want to sit and relax, read, get creative, study, eat or just let your mind drift away, the State Library, Victoria, has so much to offer.
On your next outing in the city of Melbourne, I encourage you to visit the
State Library, Victoria. It will truly feel like, therapy for the soul.
The year of 2022 is nearly over but on a personal level, what an exciting and unexpected adventure so far! I have met wonderful people and am grateful for every opportunity that has been given to me.
I look forward to my next chapter, the unknown!
😊 Love the State Library Cathy. I have done some research in their newspaper microfilm section. What a wonderful journey you've been on this year. I wish you new roads and adventures to come, so exciting 🌼💛🎉🌟
