It is not often you get an invite into the 'Red Room' @ rppfm to chat live on a radio station so when the opportunity presented itself l knew it was an adventure that l did not want to miss!
Unbosoming which means, ‘a disclosure of thoughts and secrets’ was a perfect fit for a Tuesday morning radio segment titled, ‘Spilling the Tea with Catie and Chris’.
For those of you who have read ‘Unbosoming’ you would agree that it unveils the good, bad, and ugly side of people, so 'Spilling the Tea with Catie and Chris' seemed to go hand in hand.
Someone recently told me when A and B have a problem C should stay out of it.
In part l agree with that analogy but in part, l also disagree.
None of us are perfect and just like you, l am making mistakes of my own but have no regrets with the choices l have made to date and continue to make!
As a hairdresser and employer l became the 3rd wheel in every story l listened to. l am glad l was C in many situations, good or bad.
Always going with my gut instinct and reaching out to help and support others, or to be that voice when you didn’t have a voice, inspired me to share your story.
Every person has their own motto they live by -Mine
“They told me l couldn’t, that’s why l did”
Chatting with the ladies who were vibrant and engaging, was awesome! If l am being totally honest, l had so much fun in the Red Room.
Bonus was when Catie and Chris asked if l would like to hang out with them for the remainder of the morning segment. Yes, yes and yes!!! What a treat!

Thank you Catie and Chris for making me feel welcome and inclusive. l am so grateful that we had an interesting chat together and for the opportunity to give a wider audience an insight into ‘Unbosoming’
