I can honestly say it has been my dream to live somewhere near the beach. For many years l would chat to family and friends about my vision to make that dream come to life and manifesting a lifestyle change located somewhere by the beach is now, my reality.
I am sure that at times everyone thought I sounded like a broken record on repeat when l would discuss moving out of Melbourne, but it was a mission that l was not giving up on.
Embedded in my thought process, deep down in my heart of hearts, it was my calling to be where l am today realigning myself, and my mind, for me.
Having lived in Craigieburn for most of my childhood and working life l totally understand the importance of community connections. Since l have been living on the Mornington Peninsula and adventuring on a new journey as a published author l have been overwhelmed by the support l have received.
As a new resident it has been so nice to have local council and businesses, and the community take me, and my book ‘Unbosoming’ under their wing.
Visiting the library and becoming a member of YAWA Aquatic Centre has reaffirmed that l made the right decision to transion out of the hustle and bustle to be exactly where l am today.
I would not change a thing!
