CHAT SESSION 96 with Sunday Lemonade, Tys and Loz

Topic- Exploring observations of life on the road, friendships and introspection has ultimately made this duos music a culmination of two individuals experiences bottled up in optimism

Monday 24th February 2025 1-2pm https://rppfm.com.au

Multi award-winning nomadic duo ‘Sunday Lemonade’ traverse the spectrum from heartfelt folk through to powerful indie rock and are making waves in Australia after winning the "People's Choice" award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2024. In essence, ‘Sunday Lemonade’ have captivated audiences nationwide.

Over the past 12 months, the bubbly duo have relocated to the far south coast of NSW and have supported Australian favourites such as 19-Twenty, The Rubens, Sons of the East & The Little Quirks amidst multiple nation-wide tours and their debut overseas tour. They have also featured on diverse festival line ups such as Cobargo Folk, Moruya Blues & Roots & Yackandandah Folk proving their can-do attitude to be wherever, whenever.

Life on the road has offered the duo a unique lens through which to observe the fluidity of human existence, revealing how geography and mobility shape identity and relationships.  When traveling, each new destination has served not just as a backdrop, but as a catalyst for tailored experiences that reflect both cultural diversity and shared humanity. Encounters with strangers can dissolve social barriers, as brief interactions often reveal profound insights into differing worldviews, lifestyles, and dreams. This transient existence cultivates a sense of awareness, encouraging this dynamic duo to appreciate the ephemeral nature of moments, while simultaneously discovering a deeper connection to themselves and the diverse tapestry of life, and music that unfolds along their journey.
