'THE PAPERBACK BOOKSHOP'

Updated: Sep 12, 2022

Today 1st June 2022, on a rainy, winter woolly day my book ‘Unbosoming’ became an addition to ‘The Paperback Bookshop’, an independent, general bookshop that has been established since the early 1960s.

With a meeting to attend, and the excitement of a train trip ahead, a favourite thing l love to do, my commute was made super easy to find this quaint little bookshop, located at 60 Bourke Street, Melbourne, a short walk from Parliament train station.

From the moment l entered the bookshop l immediately felt welcomed and the ambience of a warm, cosy, and calming space was just perfect!

Bill and his lovely assistant Georgia made time to genuinely listen to a little of my story and after our chat l was so happy that ‘Unbosoming’ was made inclusive on the bookshelf at 'The Paperback Bookshop’

As a new Australian writer who is now establishing herself as an author, l am blessed that my new journey in 2022 is organically taking shape and truly appreciate the opportunity that Bill and his team provided me with today.

PS: Do yourself a favour and visit ‘The Paperback Bookshop’. You will find more than just a book or ten…they also stock cute cards and beautiful wrapping paper along with other little extra goodies!

Thank you, Bill, and Georgia, you made my day!!!
